Description: Leads daily shift operation of production lines/systems ensuring that production goals are met, equipment runs continuously and efficiently and meets requirements for quality and safety. Requirements:

• Previous work on packaging, labeling, and/or cartoning equipment; understanding of controls; ability to read and interpret PLC’s.
• Knowledge of statistical theories in order to calculate fill rate, mean, standard deviations, etc.
• Ability to work with film, multiple feeds, variety of filling equipment, and high speed equipment.
• Demonstrated ability and desire to teach, mentor and transfer acquired knowledge to others.
• Ability to communicate important work-related information in English.
• Displays evidence of good solid decision making, along with ability to multi task and priority activitities to insure production standards are met and exceeded on a regular basis.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish would be considered a bonus.
